About the Flight School

I was encouraged by several friends to start an "R/C Flight School" in  November, 2004, and with their help and support it came to be in early 2005. The first class was held in May 2005.

Here's our current staff:

Mike Fuller, our helicopter instructor, is a full scale Helicopter pilot for the Army National Guard.  He holds a commercial license for civilian use and also a private pilot.  He also has been teaching radio control planes and helicopters for over ten years.

Greg Shane is the chief instructor and owner of the  Flight School.  He has been flying radio control for over 30 years, holds a private pilot certificate,
is a trained UAV internal & external operator and has been involved in
training for his entire professional career.  

Mark Humpries is a part time fixed wing instructor.  Mark has ten years teaching experience along with 20 years RC fixed and rotor experience.  Mark also owns Mark's Hobby shop in Little Rock, Arkansas and offers lots of technical information to his students.

The R/C Flight School is about quality flight instruction and not about how many students that have been trained!  Thus far our oldest pilot has been 85 and youngest at nine!  Students hail from all over the United States, as well as from Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean.

The RC Flight School is all about the YOU, the student pilot!
