These are the most common questions that are asked.
Q: Why do you insist on using your own
planes?
A: There are several reasons: 1) We don't have time to do a
complete check of student's planes. 2) There is more than one
plane, so if you damage one, there is another one standing by that
is identical.
Q: Can I get my deposit back?
A: Generally no. You will be asked to reschedule. If
the reschedule is missed, then the deposit is forfeited.
Q: Why do you use a vocabulary?
A: So that the instructor and student are on the same page
the first day.
Q: Why do you use NexStars and OS
motors?
A: .Because we have found these to be the most reliable and
durable.
Q: Why do you use Futaba radio equipment?
A: Because these radios have the features that are needed at
the school. Their new
trainer functions (dual control and wireless training systems)
are far superior to JR / Spectrum equipment. JR will has been phased out of the school.
Q: Why can't we bring our dogs to the
field.?
A: They disrupt classes and there are predatory wildlife that
potentialy could kill your dog.
Q: What makes the RC Flight School
different from club training?
A: .There are a number of
club instructors that are top notch! That being said there are
several advantages to a dedicated school. They are:
- Continuity of training (5 days in a row)
- Instructors that always show up.
- No peanut gallery to distract or heckle. (it's fun for the other guy)
- It's just your plane in the air.
- Professional training that is customized to and for YOU.
- A chance to ask ALL the questions you what
and not feel
like you are a nuisance to the instructor. - This school is all about YOU! If you are successful then the school will be successful as well!
